My Inspiration"Dont Quit suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion"

I recently lost one of my best mates, Louis Bevis, he was a great captain, great footballer, but most of all a great friend. He has given me some of the best advice that I know on the pitch. Louis was always quick to put his arm around a team mate if it wasn't their day. Every-time I set foot onto a football pitch i think of Louis, London 2012 will be no different

Fordingbridge Turks Football Club

Fordingbridge Turks is where it all began for me as a footballer. It will always be a special club to me, as it was mainly a group of mates that played at a high level week in week out, i played for them  from the age of 10 up until i was 19.
My Dad (John Mullin) was my manager.  We have always shared Saturday mornings together on the pitch, some of my fondest memories have come from this period of time. I guess i owe my dad a lot, not just in terms of football but off the pitch as well i have learnt the discipline i will need, as the games approach

My first England Shirt

Number 16- Alex Mullin/ MIchael Carrick
my first England shirt, was a proud moment, pulling on the shirt was something very special i will always remember that day. Something every boy has always dreamed of....
